Excellent quality!: Kraft paper

Excellent quality DECO film! I use it roughly on my laminator and get good results. It can't be as hot as foil machines and sometimes doesn't fully adhere, but it still looks nice and even shabby, so I don't mind. I've also used Minc foil and while the results are the same, this foil is thicker and easier to use.

Pros
  • Paper
Cons
  • Some errors

Very limited success

I have tried this film on 2 different laser printers, 5 different types of paper and 3 different laminators. This ONLY works with thin, smooth paper (less than 30 pounds). Results are poor with card stock or textured paper. Sometimes it only partially adhered to the toner and sometimes it didn't adhere at all.

Pros
  • Use on paper, fabric, wood or other porous surface
Cons
  • Something else

Works EXCELLENT about 50% of the time.

Hmm, I have to say I'm 50/50 on this one. But for that price, you can afford to buy more foil sheets and just be ready to redo your artwork. I would say I get AWESOME results about half the time and absolutely HORRIBLE the other half. Ha ha. No guarantee. But the type of paper you use for laser printing definitely matters. I get better results on smooth paper than on textured or construction paper.

Pros
  • 5 sheets of transfer film 6" x 12"
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Favorite mink for crafting

You will receive 4 sheets of foil approximately 12" x 5" which is good if you do a little work. It's not horrible foil, it's not the same as minch foil, it's a bit heavier and thicker which some prefer, but you'll need to test different heat settings when using it with a minch machine. I prefer rolls of mink foil which have a lot more, although they cost twice as much I think you get a lot more than double the amount of foil and you can use a lower temperature for my mink work.

Pros
  • Acid Free
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
