I've ordered 3 over the years 1 came with broken glass some have dented or damaged wood. It's hard to tell factory defects from shipping damage, but if you need an item in a hurry I would order a few and then keep the best of the bunch.

The frame was slightly dented and the coating was damaged in several places. I didn't have time to return it because my employees retired the next day. I was able to repair the damage myself as I had furniture repair supplies on hand. The materials appear to include pressboard in the frame itself and I would have preferred solid wood. In general, after the repair, the frame was satisfactory.

I'm not a fan of cherry wood, but this case is very durable! I have ordered 3 to be dispatched within a week before Christmas, delivered promptly and all arrived on time. This is a good flag case for the price. This is a beautiful cherry wood color and would make a great 3X5 flag. Works best with a cotton flag but I choose nylon and it works well. The problem with 3X5 nylon is that it folds less. When I put it in the case it had wiggle room. I just took a piece of packing styrofoam, put it on the back and the flag came up fine. Doesn't even show up. I tried the cotton flag and it fits the case very well.

This was for my dad's memorial flag and a pair of medallions. The flag fits perfectly and looks very nice. The box is a bit deeper and I wanted the medallions to be visible as well. Solution: I placed the medallions on the glass, then the flag, then used protective foam sheeting to hold everything in place. Overall a very good looking product, looks perfect on the shelf and serves as a good reminder of my dad when I come into the office.

Received these just before my Eagle Scouts court of honor to keep the American flag I was given (if any). flown from the US Capitol). I really like the wood finish and it feels very durable. It was a little tight for a flag, but folded too loosely the first time. If you want the flag to be guaranteed to fit (and sit nicely), you need to fold it very tightly and correctly. This display case would be good if the workmanship were better. The biggest problem was sanding marks from coarse sandpaper. The sides look like they were sanded on a stationary belt sander with 80 grit and then coated. If a builder had spent 5 minutes on a random orbital sander and progressively higher grit, the body would have covered well and looked great.
