The USB connector made it very easy to place over my computer actually I have 2 of them It also has a slot for 3 AAA -Battery but the power bat has decreased noticeably in just 24 hours since I keep mine on for a mellow mood so they basically drain the batteries very quickly, the USB port is the way to go. go with it I think the plastic tube is great for kids and won't bother if they fall off.

I love these neon lights. This blue would look amazing on the wall with my pink neon bat light. I really like that they can use the USB port or batteries for power. As a power source, you can use the USB cable or 3AA batteries in the battery pack. The line to the battery is shorter than USB, but I had no problems hanging up. It seems pretty sturdy and well made, but it's lightweight.
