The case is very durable and offers shock protection and a screen coating to protect against scratches and dust. This is a great case if you're tough with your phone or have a job that exposes your device to abuse.

I'm a fan of Otterboxes and I use them on all my phones. The Otterbox I ordered for the iPhone 8plus turned out to be junk. He wasn't of the same quality as the others. The corner pieces that help hold it in place came loose with no effort or touch when I opened the case. I'm not sure what's going on, but Otterbox totally failed in this design.

This is a replacement case for the identical case I bought for my son's iPhone 8 Plus. The first lasted at least two years, proving the price was worth it. So when I got this and when he put this new case on, it fit perfectly and it's like he never replaced it. Let's hope he can keep his iPhone in top condition until he buys a new iPhone in the future.

I received a box of otters and immediately tried to put it on my phone. I had trouble getting the clips off. On one of these, I finally noticed a gap between the plastic bezel and the actual screen, making it difficult to use. After some research I discovered that it was a fake Otterbox. I will never buy an Otterbox from this seller or Amazon again. Very disappointed

One of the toughest cases I've tried to protect an iPhone from drops. This case has saved my phone from falls more times than I can count. Only criticism is the lack of a replaceable vinyl bezel for the front of the case as a separate piece. If it eventually wears out or gets scratched, you'll have to buy a brand new case. I think that's a small price to pay considering I've never had any phone damage while using the case on this model.

I love otter protection. They have saved my phones many times in the past. I bought this case to replace my old case which was worn out and the inner plastic sleeve on the home button was torn. My only issue with this new case is the outer cover. My old case and all otter cases before it were softer and more rubbery which I really liked. It helped keep my phone in my spare pockets and just made it easier to grab. This case has a much harder plastic feel.

Part of the screen above the fingerprint reader is already crumpled, so I can't use the fingerprint recognition for anything. I don't think that's what happened, but after a few days I realized it was a problem. I have to enter my password for everything after the fingerprint reader screen fails. Also, it's like trying to open a locked door to disassemble a case to put the phone in first or put it back in after taking it out. Because of this, the plastic screen begins to peel off the hard…

Update from January purchase/review. The quality seems to have gone down. While the last Otter Box lasted two years, the new replacement is coming out in less than four months. The foil over the home button is frayed (see photo), the holster is torn and I can't put it back together. I praise good products, but I'm more than willing to call junk. I will no longer spend money on overpriced Otter Box products. To say I'm disappointed would be a gross understatement. The next check for January is…
