Def Tech looks doesn't sound like it

I've been waiting a long time to buy these speakers. They are very well made, nice to look at, but the sound is a little too weak. I was expecting more dramatic sound and presence, but most of the time I forget they're there (I did a few calibrations and adjustments with my receiver).

Poor sound quality for the price

I bought these because a well known brand thought they would outperform the 'cheap' floorstanding speakers at Best Buy. I was so disappointed with the sound that I sent them back. I went to the cheapest store and bought Polk Signature S15 Full Range Speakers for HALF the price ($169) and the difference in sound was absurd. "Cheap" Polk speakers sound MUCH fuller and brighter. Save your money and get something that sounds way better. I don't work for Polk or Best Buy or anything like that. I…
