I think for the price you get what you pay for. Hardly gives off any heat. It definitely won't warm you up much, but it will eventually remove the stain on your windshield.

Gives a small amount of instant heat. Can be used to warm hands or very slowly thaw 3 square inch windows at a time. This won't be enough to keep the interior of the car much warmer than the exterior.

This item will NOT heat up your car. But if you need an anti-fog, then that's fine. The suction cup that goes to the window is not the best, it is enough. This is the best way to describe this product, its appearance is appropriate. Try a different heater/defogger first 1.

My car heater broke down last winter and I bought it to defrost my Jeep Liberty windshield. Not only did this blow my fuses and cigarette lighter relay, it also blew my airbag system. I've replaced the fuse but to no avail. It ended up costing me about $500 to fix the electrical system and airbags before I attempted to sell the car. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Today I used it for the first time. It radiates warmth, it was 40 degrees in Louisiana today. I'm not sure how well it works at lower temperatures. However, it stopped working after the first use. My love quickly found a miserable job soldering in a 12 volt connector. It was lost. He soldered it back and it works great again. I suggest if you buy you buy a spare plug for 12. You will need it. It's a lot easier than re-soldering it. I will buy another one in the future.

As someone who lives in North Dakota, winters are cold and harsh. So I was very concerned when my heart stopped working in my car. I bought it to wait until it's warm enough to fix my heater or at least thaw enough holes in my windshield so I can see while driving. This item fared worse than me, smashing the inside of the windshield with a credit card while driving. For better results, use a cheap hair dryer in your car. Definitely not worth it for someone living in a relatively cold place.
