Best mic for YouTube

This is a mic for YouTubers who like to run and shoot. If you're like me, you talk to the behind-the-lens camera a lot. Deity is more affordable and beats Rode by several light years. I dug deep into the research and this mic is way better than the Rode Micro and even the Pro.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

Good product! Easy-to-use multifunction microphone!

Very small and handy microphone. The sound quality is good. Happy with this purchase. The fact that it doesn't require battery power makes it very easy to use - plug in and forget. Dual apertures come in handy when you want to record and annotate at the same time. Good product!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Bullshit on Accessories

1- There is not much difference in sound quality between my phone and this microphone. Unless you're in a soundproof room, it will reverberate. 2 - it picks up background noise and wind TERRIBLE. If someone is speaking across the street and you try to speak into the microphone, you may be able to hear other people speaking. Save money and buy another microphone

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Communication with Seller

However, I rarely write bad reviews.

I was hoping this mic would record something. I may have a melody, but even to hear the faintest sound, I needed a CLOCKING BAND. And it increased the noise level of all my audio, rendering it unusable. I tried different devices to even get a good signal. Zoom H6, DSLR and even my Steinberg audio interface. nothing useful. Again, maybe I just have a blemish, but the buyer should still beware.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No automatic

Do not buy to blog when there is no wind

Unfortunately all the top bulbs on this one sold me. The best microphone for vlogging! I was so excited to use it. Went outside in a few areas where the wind was only 2-4 mph. The sound was so terrible even on dead cats. It is said to be rated for speeds of up to 15 miles per hour. Unless you're blogging outside in a perfect wind, stay away. What a joke with the microphone. Maybe he just wants different dead cats, but I don't need to buy different brands of dead cats.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Not the best sound

The idea for this thing is great, but it just doesn't exist. I don't know why these plug-in mics can't offer a little more clarity at a distance - almost no difference to my built-in mic in my DSLR. The dual function is odd and you should be able to copy and paste a track as you edit, then left+right fill if you want the front and rear mics to come out of both speakers. I don't see it as very practical and convenient for blogging - too much work in one post - wireless mics could also be used.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

I love this mic for youtube vloggers!

I really like this mic! I'm editing a YouTube channel where the presenter often speaks into the camera (selfie style) and then moves behind the camera to describe his work on the car. Until we found this mic, switching from camera to camera was always a problem because during a call he had to constantly rotate the mic to face the side of the camera he was talking to. It hurt and he made noises as he turned the mic. However, since this microphone actually consists of TWO microphones, there are…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
