🧣 Extra-Large Purple Del Mex Mexican Serape Blanket Review

I was looking for a large picnic/beach blanket, not flimsy and reasonably strong and this blanket was perfect. The colors are vibrant and just like the photos and it was good value in comparison. I love it!

Fits perfectly on my truck seat! I got a fuchsia Mexican blanket for Christmas and fell in love with how soft, versatile and decorative it is. So I decided on a color scheme (turquoise) and bought 4 blankets for my F150. It refreshes the interior. Wraps around the seats without the hassle of elastic and adds a fun pop of color while protecting my original seats. And I don't feel bad tossing them in the laundry after a day at the beach.

I bought a turquoise Mexican blanket to use as a Southwestern style Christmas tree skirt. The colors are gorgeous and add exactly the look I was looking for. I bought a king bed because I read some reviews that said the Serape duvet was thin (and it is). The large size and slim fit suits my purpose perfectly because it drapes nicely and folds around the tree trunk. It will probably be the tablecloth after Christmas. I am happy with the purchase.

I use these very colorful and well made Serapes as tablecloths around my house. They look amazing and my guests have complimented me on their unique style. I sprayed them with Scotchguard so I can wipe them off easily if I spill anything on them. My only suggestion is if you wash them, hand wash them in Woolite and dry them on a hanger with a clothespin or other weight on the bottom or they will curl up as they dry. JANUARY 2019 - A bit pricey, hope it washes well. March 30, 2020 - UPDATE: Looked good but felt different when washed. The hem unraveled, and even the fabric of the blanket turned into piles of nap. This littered the car causing damage and everything else in the load was covered by what used to be that blanket. I would not recommend this to any friend. I would advise keeping your distance. Beautiful, seems to be holding up. Thin but feels durable like it won't tear or wear out anytime soon.
