Although this printer produces excellent printing results, replacing an ink cartridge is expensive. The only place to get ink (that I could find) is the Dell website. Including shipping, a cartridge costs over $30. Dell ships its ink quickly, but still a lot faster (and cheaper) when you can buy something from a local store.

Got this new one with a new Dell computer and it has served me well. The black ink cartridge holds quite a bit of ink so you won't get ripped off like some do. It prints black text very well, which is what I use it for. I found it very reliable. I have no complaints about him.

The printer looks good. I just can't install the software. There is an error on the DVD. Tells you it's not in English so choose another language to install. But it won't install. Seriously annoying.

When I bought the printer I knew it was a very old model. I have an identical model that has a broken ammo feeder. I was able to buy this replacement very cheaply so I did. It didn't have a power cord, but luckily I converted the old one. I would not recommend this printer due to its age and lack of features. It satisfies my basic needs and was worth the purchase at a very reasonable price. My computer needs to be replaced and when I replace it I will be upgrading to a new 3-in-1 printer.

I bought this printer to replace the same printer I previously had. I was very happy with my purchase. I was able to use the same ink cartridges that I had already bought. The item was carefully packaged and shipped. All components were present. It works like a jewel. I am satisfied with the purchase and the seller.

this company sent me a broken printer when i got the printer the printer came in a box with 3 sheets of newspaper i set it up the printer didn't work i was thrown away the printer wasted my money. I can't understand how Amazon would let a company sell things claiming they're new

This was not listed in any of the product descriptions I was able to find for this item on Amazon. I had this printer model a few years ago and it works great if you have an operating system that can actually update drivers.

bad reviews about slowness, I had two of these printers and the same Lexmark. I've had two HP printers recently, the first didn't work for a long time until the paper path went bad (not aligned). Immediately bought another when it went to print, once said my electrics were not connected it was, the display on the plug-in was even on such remote software and tried to do it again but had to register fully , lost information and said everything to say it.
