Replacement Dell 90W Slim Design Charger

I was concerned. . .will it work? Will it continue? I am SO happy with this product. I don't know why all Dell computers don't come with such an adapter. Why pay more than $70 when I can get less than $20? Because often you pay for what you get. In this case it was cheap. I did some research and this replacement charger had good reviews so I took a chance and I'm glad I did!

Pros

Cons
  • Not the best

Great satisfaction! for laptop accessories

After researching my laptop problem, found what I needed. The solution was to upgrade the existing power supply/charger. After I found and purchased it from Revain, it came packaged as advertised, worked exactly as the reviews said and fixed the NO CHARGING issue immediately. Completely satisfied now. I have previously bought replacement chargers that only lasted a month and stopped charging. But this one solved all the problems!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Available in white only

Nice to have an extra cord

I have an extra power cord in my office and it was a good price. I especially like the blue light where it connects to the computer so I can always be sure the computer is getting power. I gave it four stars because it heats up within an hour, and while it says it's thin, it's also wider than a regular adapter box. Remember that the end of the plug in the adapter is a little loose, so check regularly that it's connected, which is easy to do thanks to the handy blue indicator!

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Weak kit

Great product - chargers and adapters

This is a great adapter to replace my Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop. I had problems with my old adapter; After a while it started to decrease to the point where my laptop would just run on the power cord without charging the battery. This new adapter gives the laptop the same performance as the original adapter, but requires less input current (it's also more efficient => less power consumption => more money saved!) Also, the device is half the size of the adapter I used before. Excellent…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Good but not great

Thinner and cheaper replacement adapter, although not very durable.

I received this replacement adapter for my Dell Inspiron 1520 after my original Dell adapter suddenly stopped working after over 4 years. I decided to order this one as the one Dell sells is many times more expensive. It is thinner, which is very convenient when you wear it. However, it tends to get very hot. Also, after a few months, the cable's rubber insulation around one of the plugs came loose, exposing one of the cables that had actually snapped. However, the adapter (mysteriously?) still

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Expensive

The product is not recognized by any laptop

Well as the title says 2 of my Dell laptops didn't even recognize the charger when plugged into the power ports. The HP laptop recognized it, but it kept connecting and disconnecting itself, so I just left it disabled. The weird thing is that the power light was blue (meaning it's getting power from the wall) but my Inspiron 1545 or 1750 never recognized it as the product name says. I don't know if it's defective or just doesn't work on these laptop models, I don't know, I just know I ran out…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Concerns me
