Review on Dell PA-3E 90W Laptop Adapter: Slim Design Charger Replacement AC Power Adapter Compatible with Dell Models by Maria Hase

I received this replacement adapter for my Dell Inspiron 1520 after my original Dell adapter suddenly stopped working after over 4 years. I decided to order this one as the one Dell sells is many times more expensive. It is thinner, which is very convenient when you wear it. However, it tends to get very hot. Also, after a few months, the cable's rubber insulation around one of the plugs came loose, exposing one of the cables that had actually snapped. However, the adapter (mysteriously?) still charges my laptop; A quick repair with tape did the trick. Overall I think this adapter is great; Just be a little ginger with it.
