I am very satisfied with this Dell DisplayPort to VGA adapter. I'm something as I replace many client computers but keep their old monitors, often only with VGA input. This is a full plug and play adapter. Just plug it in and it works. Just for testing, I tried it on a 24-inch Dell Ultrasharp monitor with a native resolution of 1920x1200. I had no problems with the full resolution; the specified maximum for this adapter. Just a nice clear desktop on the monitor. This adapter is perfect for me…

Pros
  • Measuring 7 x 0.5 (L x H) inches, this plug and play adapter is easy to use and always on hand for impromptu client presentations or parties with Friends.
Cons
  • Socket required

Pairs perfectly with computer accessories and peripherals

Just what I needed to connect the monitor to the base unit. There is now a dual monitor between this cable and another adapter I bought that allows me to switch between monitors.

Pros
  • The adapter has a DisplayPort connector on one end and a 15-pin HD15 VGA connector on the other. The standard is suitable for a large number of VGA-compatible monitors, projectors and HDTVs.
Cons
  • Something else
