My new monitor just arrived. The monitor was well packaged. As of this writing, the screen is filled with a white page of Revain, and I don't see any scratches, changes in brightness, or other blemishes. The text is clear which is what I need when writing software and legal reviews and I'm 65 years old so my eyes need all the help they can get. I particularly like that I can easily rotate the display, which I do when reading bulletins or using Libre Office or my programming editor. I bought two

Good monitor, easy to set up but image contrast is very poor. For example, it makes it difficult to read maps. Adjusting the contrast and brightness doesn't help either. Sometimes I need to access my laptop screen.

Almost every website is designed to be 1000 pixels wide. This monitor is ideal for surfing the Internet and documents. Large monitors with an aspect ratio of 16:9 are good for graphics and spreadsheets. I use both side by side. See photo. Dell monitors are well designed and built. In addition, the frames can be lifted, tilted and rotated. In my opinion, this utility is worth a few bucks more.

I prefer larger 4:3 screens to stretched wide screens with dark borders. The defaults are good and after going through the online setup log I decided to go back to the defaults. The height of the screen is adjustable based on the base.

This monitor has a large display and a clear picture. I also like that I can raise and lower it. I wish there was a little easier to connect the cables to the monitor.

I bought 2 of these to have portrait monitors for my home and second home office - I work with 2 monitors and I like that the left one is a portrait - I can't get a resolution that matches a landscape monitor - I older Dell could, but not this one - it doesn't support white monitor plug. So if you have an older processor you will need to use HDMI - not included - or adapters - not included - these monitors are rotatable and height adjustable -

It looked brand new, fast shipping, comes with HDMI cable and packaged very well. I would recommend it to everyone. So far so good!

I work in a business environment and prefer to have multiple programs open at the same time in their own windows. These monitors are the right size for a multi-monitor setup. They're easy to install and come with a variety of cables to connect multiple graphics cards. They're not so good for videos and wide spreadsheets. I have another monitor for this purpose. The stands easily adjust to my height requirements without having to stack books under the base.

The monitor arrived on time and was packaged in a way I have never experienced before. The surrounding air cushions are specially tailored to the monitor/heavy cardboard. Clean and without defects. Ascendtech gets my five star rating.

Bought for a Raspberry Pi based arcade system and it works great. Since some games are oriented vertically and others horizontally, a square monitor (5:4 aspect ratio) was ideal (e.g. a vertical shooter doesn't look good on a widescreen monitor). It met all the requirements.
