Cheap broke didn't last 3 months

I bought this in January and now it doesn't even charge or hold a charge. The pin broke easily. Stuck again trying to get a charger. I'm glad I have a USB-C that works, otherwise I'd wait weeks for a charger that actually works.

  • Stable test results

DELL original equipment

This travel charger is for Dell Precision 5530, I lost mine while traveling and it looks the same, Dell logo, same model number. Made in China. If you don't mind a logo, there's a universal charger that looks exactly the same except for the logo. I'm assuming they're made in a factory next door in China, this version is half the price.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • boring package

Just like the original charger

I was happy with my XPS 15 9570. The only problem is my puppies like to chew on charging cables! This is the second time I have had to buy a new charger because of a puppy. This charger is exactly the same as the one that came with my computer. Computer and charger work great! I like that the charger is Dell original but costs less than ordering from Dell.

  • Easy to use

Similar to the original, but cheaper than ordering direct from Dell.

So far so good, I left my original charger hundreds of miles away at a resort hotel and didn't know until I booted up my laptop at home. Ordered a replacement, came within 2 days. Works like the original so far. It's only been a day. It's much cheaper, almost 50% cheaper than ordering a replacement adapter directly from Dell.

  • Best-in-Niche

Avoid Dell XPS Best in Laptop Accessories

I bought this charger for my Dell because the original one broke but now I'm having the same charging issues again. I don't know if it's a specific model, but there are many problems with Dell products. I had a Dell in 2012 that broke in 2014, switched to a Mac, gave Dell a second chance in 2018 with the supposedly powerful XPS 15 9570, guess who needs to buy another charger? Dell customer service sucks. If you want to buy this model of computer, avoid it

Counterfeit Dell Product: Chargers and Adapters

I bought two of these chargers to have a spare. The first didn't even last a month. Second two months. I called Dell and the person told me how to identify counterfeit chargers. The cover is the first thing that catches the eye. These fakes have a dull, flat finish, while the Dell has a glossy polished finish. I spent the money to buy a genuine Dell charger which was another $20 more expensive than the fake chargers. Has been working flawlessly for 6 months now. Revain needs to do something to…

Another mistake: Computers and Accessories

Like many other reviewers, I bought this charger when the one that came with my Dell XPS stopped working. Charging worked fine from March to August, but the cable plug kept slipping out of the transformer, so I often had to reconnect it. I ended up using my original transformer with a new cable and was able to get it working. Six months later, I'm literally sitting on top of a transformer (now taped to hold the cord in place, which actually charges the computer) to make it work. That's…
