Magic, great investment

Magic, I've been wanting to go from a 24" to a 32" monitor for a long time and decided to upgrade to 4UHD. After a long search I decided on Dell. I like the size and quality of the image, the display settings recommend 150%, I set it to 175% and I like it.

Not for office work or programmers

I really wanted this monitor to work, it has all the keywords I was looking for: thin bezel, 4K, 32 inches and curved! I ordered 2 separately, one came early and the box wasn't even sealed, I guess that's the fault of the delivery person. Tape ripped off while wearing. I checked the item immediately to see if there was any damage to the fairing or any parts missing. Luckily I didn't find any physical damage but I was very disappointed with the image quality. Since this is a VA panel which has a

Poor motion blur/pixel sensitivity, amazing colors and contrast

Bought this monitor for work and play. The monitor is great for work. I can manage multiple windows (one or two browsers, a text editor, and a multi-window terminal) by moving the monitor 2-3 feet back, scaling the UI to 125%-150%, and maintaining absolute clarity and readability . Text clarity, color accuracy and contrast are excellent compared to my previous TN panel monitor. I don't think I will ever return to TN. BUT the motion blur is terrible. After some research I came to the conclusion…

Make sure you have the RIGHT HDMI cables!

Make sure you have at least a 4k HDMI cable when purchasing, preferably an 8k HDMI cable, otherwise you won't get a 60Hz refresh rate.

Don't play - the speakers aren't very good

Dell's curved screen works great as a large second monitor for my laptop and connects instantly with the included HDMI cable. My only complaint is that the speaker volume was very low and I had to purchase external speakers. I don't play so I have no idea how it works for this purpose. I bought this because I liked the idea of the built in speakers to keep cables and clutter to a minimum. In the end I'd say I love the picture quality and I'm not sending it back but this monitor is expensive and

Good monitor with a few features!

If you're looking for a big 4k monitor, this is a pretty good choice. The form factor and components are of very good quality. I was a little apprehensive about the curve as it was new to me and I didn't like it when I first started using it. After giving it a day or two it will be fine - even better than flat. It's a great picture and plays 4k well. Big enough to get some work done while still streaming Netflix or something. There's sound, and the quality is actually pretty good. A few quirks:

Great for making music

I switched to this from a 27" 4K monitor and the flex radius is just perfect. Somehow it inspires me to work harder just to delve deeper into the subject.

Replaced my Philips with this monitor.

I bought this monitor to replace my broken Phillips monitor. I couldn't tell any difference in image quality. However, I couldn't get Pip to work. I have to give Dell credit for contacting me several times about the issue, but I didn't have time to work on it at the time. I found out that my ACER Nitro ($1000) was one of the problems. I don't hold this against Dell as this is the SECOND (AND LAST) ACER I will own. Acer used to be good, but when I called their tech support and said that two of…
