Dell XJD0R E-Port Spacer 🔌 for 7000 Series Latitude E7440 E7240 Review

I bought this for my Dell Latitude e7440 because there is a document on the Dell website that a gasket must be used to prevent damage to the docking connector both on the dock as well as on the dock to avoid a laptop. We've had it for a while now and have never had any problems with it. My only complaint is that you can't access some of the laptop's ports, but for starters, you have the dock.

The seller packaged this very poorly in a loose envelope so the piece of plastic holding the seal has broken off and there is no way it can to reattach. It doesn't matter as it sits between the dock and the laptop and doesn't need to be locked unless you're constantly moving the dock. Strangely enough, you have to buy it separately for the dock, it should simply be included in the kit and then not used up unnecessarily. I had to buy two of these for two different laptops.
