The quick start guide was easy to understand with lots of illustrations. I bought a Blue Mountain Jamaican coffee bean to try as we love good espresso in Jamaica. To bring it home, being able to make espresso was amazing. If you are thinking about buying an espresso machine, this machine is very beginner-friendly.

Not a professional car at all

This car was a waste of time. I prefer my Breville Express Barista, but figured I'd have to pay about an extra $200 to get this more modern, dual-boiler machine. So the cons are: the water tank doesn't have a gauge on the side, which means I have to pull the car out and check the water level; the steam pipe has no handle to grasp; and most importantly, there just isn't enough pressure to froth milk. What I like about my new machine is the built-in coffee grinder and the tamper mechanism. However, I am disappointed with the steamer of this machine, which is a big factor for a machine of this caliber. I love making mochas and cappuccinos, but I find it very difficult to froth and texturize milk to the consistency of cream to make a latte…

Good results but less manual control than most espresso machines

Control over critical variables; such as grinding degree, extraction time and temperature. The most popular high-end home espresso machine was the Breville Barista Express. But this machine has a high learning curve. Just learning how to select the right grind size from the many options available, or constantly pressing ground coffee to just the right amount of pressure, takes a lot of practice (and waste of coffee). Not to mention learning how to properly use a milk-based beverage steamer. You
