Description of Delphi GN10484 Coil Plug

Delphi uses winding process techniques to control the length of wire between adjacent windings. That’s important because more length results in greater voltage differences, which in turn create more pressure that could break down the insulation and wire coating. Delphi's ignition coils are engineered to Original Equipment specifications. Delphi's ignition coils are designed with proven materials, such as high quality wires and wire coating that resists the cracks, pin holes and imperfections that most often lead to failure issues. Epoxy vacuum techniques reduce air bubbles in the epoxy, because having fewer air bubbles increases the epoxy's insulation quality and reduces the chances of energy punch-through failures. Delphi's coils are designed and endurance tested to resist the common stresses that cause failure.

Spark plug hole too small

Bought 4 ignition coils for my 2006 Subaru Legacy GT sedan and the coil didn't fit the spark plug. The hole was too small. Compared to the original ignition coil, I noticed a definite difference in the size of the hole that fits the spark plug. I was unable to use these products and will request a refund.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Fixed my misfire in ignition parts

Almost OEM but OEM was twice the price. My 2006 wrx 2.5l had misfires at WOT and p0303. I bought a GN10484 coil pack and a 4 coil pack connector kit because the old one would most likely break if left unconnected, I repeated. Now the car is repaired and drives great. Ps I also recommend all 4 candles with ngk iridium or cheaper copper. Only time will tell the longevity of the Delphi Subaru.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Something else

ABSOLUTELY NOT HIT. Perfect quality for the price.

Subaru and Toyota certified technology - works exactly like OEM. Yes, even on dyno tested turbos, dyno and city rides these plugs are exactly the same as any OEM packages I have dyno tuned. Decided to leave a review as they REALLY look cheap. But they work really well. Cars I've used them on so far: 2008 Subaru Outback XT2008-14 WRX2005-2009 LGT

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • flimsy

Worked for just over a year - coils should last longer

Well the product has worked for just over a year. The quality is not as good as the factory Subaru. Delphi also does not endorse its products purchased through Amazon. If you bought them elsewhere, the warranty is 3 years / 36,000 miles. Revain only provides a 1 year warranty and Delphi does not provide a 3 year warranty. I will never buy Delphi again. I remember the time they made substandard radios for GM and they still make substandard products.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for the elderly
