I took off a star because the hooks are crap. Read: They throw them in the trash. For those with wide doors, these hooks won't even fit on them. That's okay, because even if they did, you'd be throwing them in the trash. With that said, what I did with mine was buy stronger hooks that were thick enough to fit through my door. In theory this item could be a great find. but it has too many significant design flaws. 1.) The hooks to be attached to the door are too thick. I tried it on every door in the house to see if that door was the problem. And unfortunately no, we couldn't close any of the doors with these hooks.
