Safety first good for bathroom Hardware

Installed this on a two tier door frame to the kitchen that my 86 year old mother used for safety. That's great! Just the right size for their small hands. Some are just too big.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Handrail for my van

I converted a high-roof van into a camper and ended up with the loft bed. I bought the same one to help me get into the back of the van. Very durable and safe.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Perfect little handrail

wife needed a handrail at the entrance to the house from the garage as it is 2 steps up. We just needed something small and it fit perfectly. The white almost matched the painted trim. Now she can easily grab him and pull herself up.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • hard to say

Paintable Screws

Bar is ok. I think. I can't install it because the Phillips screw heads are painted over so the screwdriver won't fit. Even with a carbide rod, it's impossible to pick up paint. Bad technique. We have to go to the hardware store to get new screws. It's gotten really bad at the moment.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Vulgarity

strips of screw heads; bad heat treatment?

I installed two of these devices a few years ago and am completely satisfied with them. quality product. But I recently ordered two of these and both had installation issues. The screw heads came loose even when I drilled the correct pilot hole and used a good quality #2 Philips screwdriver. You need to use a screw extractor and replace the screw with a better one.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • Appearance

Overall a very good product with a small caveat

This project is solid and easy to install. Looks great, just wish the screws weren't so obvious. It would be nice to add some white caps to cover the screws. I have to go and find something myself. It's a small thing, but who wants something industrial in the bathroom when it could look so much better?

Support Bar for Rugged Equipment

Need a vertical support bar to help me get up and down on the patio and next to my bed. You seem to have a loose rod and were worried it would rotate so it wouldn't be secure, but when you actually install it it stops moving. I don't know how, but whatever compression works, it's perfect, no movement, easy to grab. The only complaint is that the painted bar is so slick that it feels a bit difficult to grip. If it wasn't a slippery surface it would be perfect. I bought 4.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Almost never

Good rod, very bad mounting screws

As a washcloth/handrail holder this is fine although the edges of the holder are a bit sharp and would be more comfortable if they were slightly rounded. This is IF you can install it correctly. The problem is that the mounting screws are too soft and come loose too easily. I placed mine by the door, and even after drilling a pilot hole in the rack with the recommended size bit, I had trouble working with the screws. I used the drill at the lowest possible speed to turn the screws, and yet they

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Low repairability
