Black Delta Faucet U6300 ADA Grab Bar Handshower Mount Review

I opened the packaging and immediately took everything out. My old shower holder broke so I ordered one. When I looked at the instructions, I was a bit confused! There are about 7 steps! So I read them and started collecting them. It was very easy to do. That works great! I wanted to add that I am disabled and did it in 10 minutes.

I converted my mother's shower into her shower cubicle so she can shower seated because she is 96 and used to hold onto the safety bars in the shower all the time. Shower. I replaced the shower head with a hand held shower head and needed a way to attach it to the safety bar. This works great for her and the position can be easily taken on the railing.

I bought the shower head to mount the shower head on an ADA bar in my shower for my disabled uncle who needs to sit in the shower. I have a hand held shower with a very long ten foot hose for him to use in the shower but I had to place the shower head bracket next to the integrated wheelchair seat. This product is better than buying a custom shower head holder or buying an adjustable shower head mount. Easy to assemble and use on horizontal or vertical rails.

I installed this in my grandmother's shower along with a shower head with an on and off switch. She loves the station wagon. She likes to be able to sit down, flush, turn off the water, stand on this handle, do her job and flush again. NO MORE slippery steps trying to put the showerhead back on the wall. This will not work for handrails less than 1 1/4" in diameter. I had to return mine. However, we have one per bar in another shower that has a 1 1/4" bar and is fine, works great and sits stably on the bar. The product has arrived and does not correspond to the product ordered. However, the product is adaptable. To adjust the product, you need to take a small Phillips screwdriver with a Phillips screw in the large cap that tightens the entire unit, loosen this Phillips screw, and then rotate the shower hose attachment mechanism to the appropriate position and tighten again. I bought this in December 2018 and found it tends to slip out of position but it suits my needs. Tonight (June 2020) I noticed that it appeared to be mineral deposits from the water and as I couldn't find instructions I had to get help to remove it for cleaning. Disclosure: I can't look at an assembly and immediately see how it fits together like some people can. I often have trouble matching instructions to real objects. That's why I had problems with the assembly of the shower wand holder. I wish there was at least one more illustration in step 5 to show how everything should look when lined up for the screw cap to continue.
