It was quite an easy process. The hardest part was finding the perfect time to silence my child to do this. But it worked great and was easy to do.

Super easy to use and contains more than enough product to make multiple pieces of the same shape. is a great gift for parents and it doesn't really have to be limited to newborns, you can do whatever you want with it. May be a bit dusty when open, be careful.

Remember this is a three person job for a newborn's arms or legs, it has more than enough mix to do it I used the first test batch and got a pretty good footprint, and overall with all the mixers and the other left, I made 3 arms and 3 legs. Make sure you use cold water for the formula, if the water is even at room temperature it will solidify too quickly and prevent you from teaching your baby to stay still.

I've never made a casting kit before but this is by far the funnest thing I've ever made for a family evening such a pretty piece. Great set, especially for the price! I have used one for my son in the past and it was more expensive with less product. I used a tester and I know what it says to try my finger, but I used my baby foot to test it. And it worked out great, especially considering how much she moved!
