Plug and Play for 1998 Honda Accord 4 Cyl Auto

Direct replacement for my 1998 4 Cyl Honda Accord Auto. It comes with a new radiator cap. It also comes with a grommet/grommets for the bottom of the passenger side fan. Also included is a new driver's side lower fan screw. Be prepared to replace all lower fasteners on the transmission line brackets and clamps, as well as the lower radiator hose clamps. Mine are all rusted. The swap took about 1.5 hours and at $60, it was half the price at local auto parts stores. Great deal I would buy again.

Multiple Fan Brackets

Needed a replacement radiator for a 2002 Honda Accord EX 2.3L. However, the radiator had been replaced earlier by the aftermarket and I wasn't sure what make of car it was originally. I took a chance and went with the Denso which suited me, perhaps because it has multiple fan mounts that attach to the back of the cooler. There were also two bushings to increase the height of the right (passenger side) fan legs. I'm still not sure what brand this car was originally, but this radiator probably…

Came in original packaging and protective packaging

I read another review of Denso radiator packaging and I was concerned. This one came in the original packaging and had that styrofoam with a vacuum on each corner. The radiator has been insulated from the box on all 6 sides and the transmission nipples have been safely removed from the box. It also came with a 0.9 bar radiator cap. The OEM rating for the 1998 Accord 2.3L is 1.1 bar. I ran it briefly with the 0.9 bar cap on and found the coolant was boiling too easily into the expansion tank and

Cheap build and junk

I don't know if it was user error or a poor quality product but the lower gear oil leaked when it was first installed. I almost ruined my trance. I tried reinstalling it, the inlet couldn't seem to adjust more tightly, I reinstalled a second time to make sure my hose was tight and leaked again this time. I could see it leaking out of the inlet. myself. It cost me several liters of gear oil and almost ruined my car. The packaging was terrible too. I've included a more expensive one with nice…

Oh AT Radiators: Spares

Let's start with the good. Actually comes with a stupid radiator cap different than the other. With an average knowledge of the process, you can install it in about 3 hours (or less!) in temperatures well below freezing. Comes with a screw for the bottom of the condenser fan because you know that stupid thing is going to rust long before you and your ratchet see it. Now for the bad. A bolt hole with the radiator fan clip (passenger side) had too much headroom to fit the stock bolt, so I had to…

Ideal for spares

This is almost exactly the same as the original. The only thing I found different is a screw mount for the passenger side fan. The original had square nuts in all fan mounting holes, but the new one had a hole that used an auto clip instead. This made it too far back to start threading the screw at this point. It was an easy fix - just remove one of the washers from one of the old bolts and then it was long enough. The only other difference was the radiator cap. The original was stamped 1.1 and

Fits but definitely not exactly like OEM

Yes it fits my 1998 Accord perfectly but a few small touches made me pull the stars off. 1. The upper radiator fan bracket is different from the Honda radiator - there are two brackets on the right side (when viewing the radiator from the driver's seat) and the left bracket requires a screw about 10mm longer to actually be used. The left bracket also differs from the Honda radiator in that it uses a clamp bolt bracket instead of a square nut as elsewhere (and OEM Honda). You can actually see…

Perfect fit for 1999 Accord EX 4 door

This radiator is a great OEM replacement. It comes fully assembled (transmission fittings already installed) and includes a radiator cap. The build quality appears to be high. Everything was easy to connect and fit the first time. I didn't have to change anything. You will probably want to replace most if not all of the screws that are 6x16 metric except for the one holding the driver's side fan which will likely be 6x12 or even 6x10 with a washer on it. . 6x16 is too long for this spot and…
