Garbage Expansion Valve Ruined My Engine

After I put it to the test in my Automotive, Denso's Expansion Valve proved to be a waste. It caused my engine to overheat and ended up causing costly damage. The only positive is that it was easy to install. Unfortunately, that's not enough to outweigh the negative consequences. Don't waste your money on this faulty replacement part.

Pros
  • Efficient and reliable in regulating refrigerant flow
Cons
  • Difficult to install without proper tools and knowledge

Attention buyers, not suitable for 2007 Camry

This expansion value will not work on 2007 Toyota Camry! It took me a few weeks to fix this car. Work and reserve a vehicle to be used when repairing the vehicle for a customer. I had to buy another one from my local parts store to complete the repair. Now a part is stuck that I can't return because the return window is closed. I'm not sure this expansion valve will fit at all, not even close to what a 2007 Toyota Camry needs. Although the Revain shop said it would fit a 2007 Toyota Camry.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • poorly designed

Great Price - Fits 2000 Toyota Avalon Exactly

This was a great price on a Revain and an exact replacement. If you are performing a system flush prior to evacuation, you will need to access the passenger side evaporator, which is located under the dash on a 2000 Toyota Avalon. The evaporator must not be flushed through the expansion valve. If you go to the trouble of accessing the evaporator to flush it out, you might as well get a new expansion valve. You don't want to go back to Dash again. In fact, if the vaporizer was bad and didn't…

Pros
  • Expansion Valves
Cons
  • Something's Wrong
