This is a Denso OEM replacement.

I ordered these for a 2002 Tacoma 3.4L V6 Pre-Runner. The photos I have attached show how it was taken and how it compares to the old igniter which is a Toyota genuine part. Don't be confused by the different part numbers, one is a Toyota OEM number and the other is a Denso PN number linked to my factory OEM number. The item is of the same quality and fits as my original. No problem with crappy store. I gave this 5 stars for the quality, price and condition of the product upon receipt. It works

Pros
  • Slim design

  • Shorter cable than others

Right coil, right price

My 1999 T4R 5VZ had an occasional but persistent P0303 code that didn't go away until I replaced the coil. This coil came in a box, wrapped and dropped straight in about 10-15 minutes (including removing the intake tube) and had an immediate impact on performance and no code. In terms of performance, it's like driving a different car; primarily instantaneous throttle response and strong acceleration. If you have an older, high mileage Toyota or Lexus, your ignition system could probably use a…

Day after. for ignition parts

A few years ago the original OEM was falling apart and going through a financial crisis so I settled on inexpensive ENA coils to keep me going. They still work fine but it's time for an update so here I am. Done Denso installation, ECU reset and I feel a slight increase in power, engine runs great, very satisfied. To update; The day after installation it felt like there was a slip when accelerating with the engine running. In the middle of the day I checked the connections, reset the ECU again…

Perfect fit and EXACT replacement for Toyota 4Runner 2001 3.4L

After diagnosing a misfire in one of the cylinders (thanks Advance Auto Parts for the help!) I discovered that there was a faulty ignition coil on mine Toyota 4Runner was SR5 Limited 2001 version, 3.4L. Parts stores were asking more than $90 for this item and about $80 for other manufacturers. Couldn't beat the price here. Revain Prime came to my rescue so I didn't have to endure the problem for long. 10 minute fix, after removing part of the air intake and driving 150,000 miles my truck was…

OE quality - spools

First, 53.xx for an original Denso spool is pretty good. Free shipping from Florida to the West Coast in 2 days is amazing! Bought these for my 97 4Runner 3.4. The old ones were 205k and my MPG was suffering. It's too early to talk about improved mileage, but throttle response feels smoother (not that it was that bad before). Smoothed out higher revs when overtaking gears and the like. There has been some debate as to whether they are genuine and I have to say yes (these are minor details)…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
