Nice fireplace blower. Works just like the ones costing 3 times more.

This is a nice blower and motor for the price. Works as designed. The blower does make a bit of noise but that's going to exist regardless of how much you spend for it. The very nature of "squirrel cage" blowers dictates that you will hear it. One additional thing to note on "your installation" is the design of the area where the blower will be installed. Mine had screws sticking out from the back wall that I had to cut off with a Dremal otherwise the fan would not sit flush…

Toasty Purchase - my new review

Bought this last fall and it works great! The wires for the control were a little short, less that 3', which meant the switch would need to be very close to the blower. For me, this would mean near the floor by the fireplace - not where I want or need the switch.The heat sensor seems to be sensitive enough, but need to watch where it's placed. I had it on the firebox where there wasn't any firebrick and the wiring got very hot. Too hot in my opinion. Moved it to where a fire brick was and it…

Everything was in the box except for the thermostat. I installed it anyway without it and operate the fan with the light switch.

Good air flow but very noisy.

I bought this to install in our gas fireplace, and installation was quick and easy. Instructions were sufficient, though not perfect.When installed, the blower worked as expected, with good, strong air flow. Unfortunately, it's very, very noisy. Even when turned on to its lowest setting, the motor makes a loud, low hum that is audible from the next room, and of course, the sound of the fan spinning just adds to that, depending on the speed. much less expensive

I have a Enviro Empress pellet stove. The blower motor has been making noise for some time but the cost of the blower motor for that stove was $277.00 to 289.00. I was hesitant to pay that much so I didn't until the noise was unbearable. I kept looking and eventually saw this motor listed on Ebay for far less. In the description it didn't list this blower as fitting the Empress stove but it looked and measured identical so I bought it. And it fit perfectly, the holes on the blower even lined up

It works, and is a decent value.

It's a little noisy, but very easy to install. I highly recommend getting some two face foam tape to lay it with to minimize rattling. thermostat is magnetic an stuck to the bottom of the fireplace. Wiring was pretty straight forward, but the documentation is pretty pitiful.

Missing parts in my review

Bought this one because it fit the fireplace; however, it showed up without the thermostat in the package. Currently talking to amazon about getting the piece replaced. Otherwise, it does what it is supposed to.

My fireplace is Coleman woodburner which I converter to gas logs, and was not easy to access the location suggested for the new blower.It took around two hours to install but the blower is much more quiet and the variable speed is a big improvement over the original single on/off version. For the price paid I couldn't be happier.

Great 👍👍👍 but at five times less than olympic

This fan works far better than I expected it to after reading some of the reviews. The adjustable speed control is great as slow as I want or it can blow really hard. That is why it is adjustable. This is a great fan at twice the price, I know because I have several wall furnaces and I have paid five yes five times as much for a very similar fan. If you have any doubts about this fan let me dissuade your worries it is better than Olympic fans which cost five time more.

You need this for your fireplace

My husband installed this in under an hour start to finish. It works perfectly. It helps so much with our wood burning fireplace. It puts heat out into the house
