it works. I use it on my 2011 WRX with a Perrin front intercooler, which got pretty hot not only from engine/transmission heat, but also from the Texan heat. Before its use, touching the pipeline after starting/running the car was a real test of manhood, but once installed, the touch test became a breeze. It really lowers the heat levels of the piping and also adds some nice bling in the engine bay. Overall it's a bit pricey, but it helps cool the intake manifolds for better suction.
