Leaks badly best in bathtub

Optics are ok, easy to assemble, but even with the slightest restrictions and the least bent pipe from the block to the drain it still works, sometimes the processing water, and Water spouts out even if there is no clogging. Reading more of the comments, this seems to have happened especially to people like me who have only relatively recently launched dishwashers with powerful pumps. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Very expensive

Louder than my old one

I replaced my old, rusty Delta dishwasher vent with the installation of a new kitchen faucet. This bleeder valve was easy to install and looks nice, but it's quite noisy when deflating. For years I couldn't tell if my dishwasher was working unless I looked at the red light on the bottom, a Bosch feature. Well not anymore, I can hear that vent 50 feet away when the TV is on. Something I never considered when replacing my old one.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Watch your tube sizes but otherwise it's ok

Totally cheap cheap cheap plastic but maybe that's ok. It was installed for several months without incident, so it's good, but for how long who knows. It's not even about the cost as BUY it's cheap but I don't need this thing to fail or throw up before a dinner party. But so far so good. Maybe I should have bought two and kept one in reserve. Hose burr sizes are not standard so plan carefully.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Compatibility

If you have a dishwasher you need an air gap

The guy who did the plumbing in my kitchen told me I didn't need an air gap with the new dishwasher he was installing. He took out my air gap and destroyed it. Now I had no more air gap and the glasses came out cloudy. Another plumber told me to install a new air gap between the dishwasher and the sink drain. I have made. Doesn't matter. I don't know why but it worked so I don't care why. I deleted the old plumber from my phone book.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Expandable

A few design issues

First, it works. However, depending on the thickness of your rack/cabinets underneath (I have a 3/4 inch wide board with a Silestone top) the threads can be quite short. I only have a few threads. It also doesn't have a ring on top of the counter to hold it in place when you remove the metal cover. The metal cap screws on and holds it in place. So if you have to take it off to clear out the trash, it falls under the counter. Also, the plastic cap on the inside that drains the water back down is

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No instructions

Much stronger than the Home Depot and easy to install. I only have 2 problems. 1) The white inner plastic cover is attached with tabs instead of screwing on and off which is difficult for me to remove when I need to open it and clean the garbage chute. 2) It's a bit shorter than the one I replaced so I had to buy a new garbage disposal hose (and of course Home Depot and Lowes were completely sold out so Lowes suggested I use a washing machine hose - hopefully it lasts a long time! Me Really…

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Minor issues
