Despite all the bad reviews I ordered it anyway hoping I would be lucky and get it in good condition. Unfortunately I was wrong. The wood is untreated, has a few dents and a few rough/chipped spots. The doors hang unevenly (the right door is significantly higher than the left door), which is noticeable because the door handles are so offset. Many reviews reported extremely poor packaging resulting in product damage and/or poor "cheap" quality. Mine arrived in perfect condition. The packaging wasn't the best (a box made out of very flimsy cardboard and cheap foam) but it did the job. As for the quality, I'm very satisfied. Bought to display the wife's trophies. This is well-made inexpensive furniture. Attractive and very functional. For example the way the glass walls, glass shelves and mirrored back combine to illuminate and showcase the objects inside. Really highlights the items inside. I have 3 of these which I unpacked tonight. Only one of them had a finish issue, and it's minor. They're packed in that cheap, crappy styrofoam that peels off into sticky little chunks that fly all over the place. All three had foam at the bottom of the mailer box where the glass shelves are.
