You get what you pay for

No wonder this is the cheapest device. This is the cheapest. Bought for my workshop. Big mistake. The plastic body bounces around like a child's toy. After two uses, the cord will not shrink. It's coming back and a more expensive steel hulled brand (which I already have in my garage and am very happy with) will replace it.

Stopped working in less than two months

in spool. Then no discharge will work and there will be no electric current. (I didn't turn off the switch.) Update: I reworked the automatic switch on the device. He could still deliver electricity. I took the coil apart to see if I could fix the discharge device. There was a cheap plastic tab that had the base of the mounting screw broken off. I threw the whole device away.

Received today and hung in my garage. First, the case is made of plastic. Not a bad thing, but it was metal instead, and I've had it for over twenty years. The loop it hangs from is also plastic and I'm pretty sure it will break after pulling the wire several times. If you use it to power powerful tools or multiple tools at the same time, you can choose a larger model. I use this to power a workbench, two chargers, and occasionally an AC power tool. With a bit of luck, it might last twenty…
