This was just what I needed for my replacement bedroom table! I bought a jigsaw and was able to cut a hole for this recessed feeder. Looks great and I get compliments every time someone sleeps in this room!

The only thing they should include is a cut out template. I measured too close to the exact size and didn't fit, so I had to cut and file to make it bigger.

Replaced a similar strip in a piece of furniture with a USB port with this one. Same physical size as the ones I replaced but with more features. The screw holes were slightly different, but it wasn't significant. Love it!

Built a desk for my son and needed a way for him to charge all of his USB devices. Installation was easy. Cut a hole, stick it in, stick it in, done. It's funny that one of the features is the length of the cord. Not the manufacturer's fault, but where I cut the hole and installed the table, I got a little less than 1 inch of clearance between the cord and the outlet.

So we actually used it in a drawer with a recessed wall socket behind it to make it fit. Much cheaper than the $250 drawer sets. You just have to make sure that the back of the socket and the plug have space. We had custom cabinets and this drawer was 22 inches deep and offset from the outlet. You also need to have room for the fork to hang from the back. It's great for connecting phones and other devices!

You need experience with power tools and please do not use this product on such tools. I recommend building a separate drawer instead of building it into furniture. If the product fails before the furniture breaks, you may have trouble replacing the fork assembly in the future when the model changes.
