Not bad for the price

I bought the same analog joystick for soldering for the PS4 controller. Doesn't heat up as much as I'd like and had to hold it on the contacts for over 30 seconds for it to melt the solder. It takes some patience to use but I was able to get it working.

Pros
  • Spare parts and accessories
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Thing works well, would definitely recommend.

I don't know why this one doesn't have a better view. I took it out, plugged it in, set the temp to around 400 and it started slightly desoldering the wemos. I've never used a more expensive device, but this thing works great for me. In less than 5 minutes I soldered about 30 connections. It worked perfectly.

Pros
  • Welding and soldering
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Oh you of little faith

I know you probably think it's cheap and probably won't work. Well I took the risk and I'm very happy about it! I was very skeptical that this thing was worth the money, but I didn't want to pay $300 for something I'm going to use as a hobby. If you're in the same position as me, go ahead and get it. If it's for business for professional use, don't even look at it.

Pros
  • Demolition Pumps
Cons
  • Discontinued
