The brackets themselves are fine but the screws that come with them are terrible. I drilled pilot holes, making sure I had the most suitable Phillips socket, but two of my first three screws came loose after I screwed them about halfway in. If you buy this please use your own screws.

This shelf bracket solved the problem. It's nice that the corner of the mount can be flipped open to tighten the top screws.

Recently used for multiple closet shelves and clothes rails. Home Depot sells white melamine shelves with raised front edges that match perfectly. Easy to level and flush. Beautiful chrome finish to match the bars we use. A very stylish way to add a bottom bar and space for multiple pairs of shoes etc. Well made and durable.

Poles are incredibly difficult to install. The hardware is cheap, with screws that have to be attached to the wall the first time you try to install it. The screws were also not strong enough to penetrate the studs. I even tried to drill a hole for the screws but the screws came loose anyway. To complete the project I had to go to my local hardware store and buy additional and stronger screws. I would not recommend this product at all.
