Curly girl must have hair. Definitely great for Type 4b/4c. It hurt my hands to hold the brush while using it but maybe because of my hair but it was absolutely easy to use. I usually have tons of hair fall and brittleness from detangling just one part of my head and this gave me styes and brittleness! So great! I wish I could give more stars! That's an all natural man's absolute best friend! The resolution is amazing! No tension, no train! And it defines the curls by dissolving. There are small clips on the brush that you should definitely keep, as they help with cleaning. It's still easy to clean, but it helps pull hair out of the crevices. I really like the brush, too bad I didn't have it sooner!

I ordered 4b hair for my sons Oh no! Biggest mistake of my life: Comb thieves capture hair. I've tried it on dry hair, I've tried the slip conditioner, I've tried it on a blow-dry. I hate this brush my son hates this brush if you have thick hair stay away don't be fooled. FYI, the clips that are supposed to separate the combs won't stay on when the hair is thick. I wish I could get mg back for the worst stunt of my life.

While these brushes are great for my hair and my daughter's hair, I really like these brushes for my wigs.
