Terrible Battery Life Disappoints

This Industrial and Scientific power tool falls short. As my tests showed, the battery life on this tool is abysmal, requiring constant charging and prolonging projects. While the motor and durability are satisfactory, it's hard to overlook the major disappointment of needing to recharge frequently. Overall, this product may not be worth the investment for those looking for a reliable and efficient option.

Pros
  • Powerful cordless hammer drill for heavy-duty tasks.
Cons
  • Charging time for the Lithium-ion battery can be long.

Great tool for drills

We used this regenerative energy source at Sandy, works great! I already have Dewalt 18 volt cordless tools so I had a lot of batteries. I also bought a car charger and was able to charge batteries in the truck, great tool!

Pros
  • Impact drills
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Great value for money

I have had a DeWalt 24v rock drill for many years and was a bit concerned that it would be less powerful but am pleasantly surprised that it actually does their large surpasses brother. Part of that is the lithium ion battery and I love the fact that I can use the batteries I have for all my other 18v DeWalt products. Recent side-by-side testing of 3/4-inch diameter rebar holes in 6-inch deep rock showed that the 18-volt rock drill drilled faster (with the same drill bit) and with more holes…

Pros
  • Demolition drill bits and hammers
Cons
  • Some little things
