Damn Good Fan in Fans

I bought a large diameter belt driven fan but the prices were amazing. Then I found a Dewalt fan. I love this fan. It's solidly built, the wheels and legs are easy to assemble, and best of all, it's adjustable speed and portability. The fan whispers quietly at low settings and moves quite a lot of air at higher settings. It's a 24-inch fan, so don't expect it to ventilate a large gym, but it'll do very well in a shop or other small space. I consider myself a buyer of "quality" and don't mind…

It doesn't let much air in and the motor housing was hanging by 1 bolt.

I bought a Dewalt fan because I wanted something more durable than what you usually buy at Wally World. Everything looked and worked fine at first, but I noticed that there are screw terminals on the bottom of the fan. It took me a while to realize that 3/4 of the latches holding the fan to the case had fallen off. Both the case and the screw mounts are made of plastic. The metal screws ripped off the inside of the retaining clips, forcing them to hold in place. I had to use epoxy to hold the…

They sent two 20 " Dewalt fans instead of the 24 " fans listed in the description. ***WARNING***

My rating is 3 because I am a big user and fan of Dewalt products. I needed, ordered and paid for two 24" DXF-2490 high speed industrial fans. In return I received two DXF-2042 20" fans. The difference in price and performance is huge. Compulsory to return and really deserves based on my experience alone one star. 24" fans were listed as sold by Revain.
