I bought this mat to use on the patio near the sliding doors. It's a great rug, but it kept out rainwater and I had to put a drainage hole in it. Two stars deducted for that.

I needed this to protect wooden floors from water and moisture. Works perfectly. Very durable. The interior holds water well and the edges are raised to help with this. I vacuumed it and even used carpet shampoo when it got clogged with dirt and water. Perfectly tidy. Costs money.

1) the center does not lie flat but is attached with ribs and 2) the surrounding 1 inch belt is poorly attached to the rug itself and can easily be lifted by a vacuum cleaner or a passing foot - either one can Cause foot to be caught and lead to a fall and injury. For the money I certainly expected a better product. But the color is nice.

Very very disappointed we put this rug on the doorstep of our house. It hadn't rained in a week so nobody went in the house with wet shoes for a week and somehow got wet under that carpet. And I mean soaked, like I just poured a cup of water on the floor and put a rug on it. Such a waste.
