Professional version of our popular DKK Card with n-Chrome coated color targets. The color patches are 100% coated with DGK's n-Chrome process, allowing for a much higher level of color saturation, luminance, and accuracy, while getting rid of metamerism. Includes 2 DKC-Pro Cards - Each with Precision 12% and 18% Gray reference for white balance plus 18-Color patches for superior digital color correction. For use with software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

Basically sucks

The gray card on the back is useful. Calibration scripts generate a million errors and are completely useless. The frame of the table top is made of cheap paper and has no rigidity. Absolutely useless. The color page is useful for eyeball comparison if you have a calibrated monitor. It is also useful for checking the accuracy of the scanner. Very cheaply made. The information on the download CD is poorly done and the scripts are missing a required file. Finally found this on the author's page…

Pros
  • For use with programs like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
Cons
  • Large and bulky

It's OK, but better coverage/protection is needed.

Haven't tested this on my scopes but for the packaging I like that there are two of them and each has a little protective piece of cardboard. I want each of them to have their own fold-out protective case. Like a birthday card or something hard and bouncy that will hold the DGK inside and allow me to wrap it up without worrying about the individual tiles (they're glued to the sheet of paper) getting scratched or scraped off. I really wanted the bigger version, but getting something that's only…

Pros
  • The swatches are 100% coated with DGK n-Chrome technology, resulting in much higher color saturation, brightness and color fidelity while eliminating metamerism.
Cons
  • Only available in black

Good enough for white balancing, not suitable for color calibration

If you want a cheap card for the white balance, then this might work for you, but I figured it would be a cheaper alternative for color calibration than the real ColorChecker. However, this is not the case. The product description states that it comes with "free downloadable software" to create a DNG camera profile. If you poke around on their website you will find a zip file you can download that contains a Java script (not a plugin) that can be used to calibrate. However, it only works with…

Pros
