I used this backpack for a 9 day tour of Iceland. It kept my gear dry and organized through multiple heavy downpours. However, I wasn't too lazy to use the included weather cover. This is a great hiking pack. It carries the load comfortably on the back and does not slip. Once you put the pack on and adjust the straps to your liking, the pack will stay in place even while jumping and climbing. Well of course for the price this pack doesn't get any better than some expensive name brand packs and for what it's worth it's amazing. This bag exceeded my expectations in a good way. I was looking for a nice, light, durable hiking bag and I found it! A couple of things that I really liked, firstly, is the padding on the shoulders. It's thick enough to support the weight of the bag, but it's not stiff where it still doesn't cushion. It also breathes, so there is almost no sweating of the shoulders.
