Very glad I tested it first. I put it outside in the rain for a few minutes and it soaked all the compartments. The major is getting worse and worse. I wouldn't even believe it's waterproof. Big disappointment. Update: I spoke to the manufacturer and they informed me that their backpack is not waterproof, only water repellent. This is her raincoat, which is waterproof.
