I bought a size 8 in khaki for a school uniform. Sizing wise my son is very slim and needs to wear a belt to hold them up. In some sizes they no longer have elastics inside to tighten them, which is a bit uncomfortable, but again we are talking about size 8. The length is perfect and matches his other size 8 pants from other brands. . The difference is that they have a higher waist than, say, his cargo or jeans.
