Works better than the original, the version had to be shortened. This is because the new version is made in multiple sizes so it is better to attach the belt buckle to this item and it doesn't come loose and need to be reattached multiple times like my old/current belt. I have my old belt in size 30" and it fits a 28" waist.

This belt was very good, durable, had no problems with it. Until about the third month I started wearing it to work every day. I wore it and wanted to take it off but the clasp broke and couldn't hold it tight or even together. It's rubbish to me now but the leather and strap have held up very well. Just not the best lock design or durability.

Nothing wrong with the product itself but I needed an exchange and they sent me one and then I sent another one back and they still billed me today after 3 weeks. Aside from loving Amazon and the products are great, this only has a billing issue.

The grandson has difficulty putting on the belts. He found this style in a store but it is no longer worn. He was thrilled when we found him at Best Buy!

This is the perfect belt! My husband only wears this style! Other ratchet or snap straps require trimming and trimming and we love that this isn't necessary! We only wish there were more colors.

I bought one of these belts years ago and it was great, I recently lost weight and had to buy a size smaller, much to my disappointment it broke after only using it for a few months.

Nice thick leather. The buckle protrudes a little more vertically than on conventional belts. They need to rethink their sizing grid. I'm a 36 waist and size 36-38 on the last few tracks. I would like a larger size so I can give a better estimate.

I used to have this strap in brown and it worked great, but the one I got won't open after closing. Very disappointed. That's my review.

I had a Dickies ratchet strap for about 5 years and eventually needed to replace it so I bought this one. Not even close to the older model. The ratchet broke and never held so well initially.

This belt will not stay in place. The ratchet system is defective. I thought it would be stronger with a name like Dickies but I was wrong.

The belt arrived completely wrecked as if it had been in the water for months because it was peeling, cracking and looking like mold. There was no damage in transit, it was necessary to see damage to the transparent packaging it was in.

This is the second Dickies belt I own. I change trousers/shorts at different times throughout the day and find it inconvenient to change the same belt for each piece. This is a very comfortable strap to wear. My next belt will also be Dickies.

They advised me to take a size or two larger than my actual size. It's WAY too big. I have now ordered a size smaller. I'll just give you one more.

My husband is a contract worker and has changed so many belts over the years. This belt is vastly superior to any previous belts he has had in the past. Very very durable. Convenient and easy to use.

I bought this belt on July 17th and received it within a few days. Date September 11, outside the window the return and the clip is broken see photo. What now! Wasted money, bad product.

This chic zipper stays cinched in at your waist, I've used it lifting and moving boxes at work and it still looks classy. I'm losing weight and I don't have to worry about how great the hole was.

This is a very good belt and I love everything about it except that it's not as long as I expected! I already had one of these belts that I bought at Walmart! I liked the look of the belt, but this one was an inch shorter than advertised! It didn't suit me but I wanted to wear it to the wedding and didn't have time to return it! I think I will have a new incentive to lose weight!

I love how finely adjustable this strap is. I don't like when the release lever breaks you have to cut the strap to get it off. I've had three and each lasted less than 6 months. The skin also tends to separate where the bead is sewn. If you can get a good one, it's a great belt. But it's clearly not powerful enough for everyday use.

It slips every now and then, but this is the best ratchet strap I've ever had. Buckle design makes it better. One of them doesn't have a clip to hold it against the butt, instead it's sewn in place and you trim the other end to size. A much better design that is holding up much better than the other (original) design.

Much better than belts with holes and tongues. Easy to reconfigure. Robust construction and well thought-out design. Much better than suspenders. Should last for many years.
