That's it. They are foolproof to install. Just rotate. The problem is, if you have a lamp switch that has a LESS than 3/8" threaded rod, what happens when you tighten the new plastic switch on the threaded rod, it goes all the way in. The plastic is pressed against the switch body, and the harder you try to turn on the lamp, the tighter the plastic grips the switch body.In other words, the pocket on these plastic switches is too deep for the short protectors in a real outlet.I had to snap offβ¦
