They are very basic but well made compared to the sprockets of the 70's and 80's. My old ones are made of melamine. It's more like a PVC or ABS alloy. But they match the LED perfectly. I expect they'll last as long as my old ones - although I'm not going to fit a bunch of 300w bulbs in them.

so far so good. They all seem to be working correctly. I use both LED and fluorescent lights and these two socket splitters are compatible with both types. There was a synthetic smell coming from them for the first few hours after switching on, but that dissipated or I got used to it. But so far they are doing well.

Bought to install in my shed to increase the lighting. I had cracked a few of them installing lightbulbs in them which resulted in the lightbulbs hanging in the mount. Since you can't even move lightbulbs in a socket, you can also end up with lightbulbs pointing in weird directions. I ended up not using either of those and installing new lamp holders so I could adjust the direction of the light.
