I am very disappointed with this product. I put the review on hold because I wanted to make sure it was correct. I could never turn it to align properly. It never tightened properly and could always come loose immediately when tightened. For 3 weeks I couldn't even tighten it, it just kept turning. If I pull it closest it will just fall. I would NOT recommend this at all. I was able to use it once, maybe 2, then it just started to loosen and eventually it wouldn't even tighten.

Despite the good price, the sun visor came loose and got lost in the forest on the first day. Worst of all was the UV filter, which sharpens by reducing blue halos - it only blurred photos, despite appearing sharp and undistorted itself. I use a Nikon Coolpix P950 and mostly at very high power to target distant birds. Terrible! Even through the camera's eyepiece, the images were a little blurry. Testing the same objects with and without a UV filter was quite dramatic. I can only believe that…

For Nikon P900. First I had to put a UV filter on the camera and then screw a non-metallic hood on top. It was NOT easy and I had blackouts in the extreme corners when the camera was switched back to wide. If you move the lens a little, the "vignetting" is not noticeable. It's not made properly for the wide-angle lens. The hood is made of plastic and can be easily threaded through the threads.
