Shorter lifespan than incandescent bulbs, flickering when dimmed

Because our lightbulbs have burned out, we are replacing them with an LED lightbulb. We had several of these LED bulbs that blew out before the rest of the incandescent bulbs in the same fixture. They're supposed to last longer than incandescent bulbs, and they definitely don't. They also flicker when the light dims. waste of money. Just buy lightbulbs. You get a longer lifespan than these LED bulbs.

Brighter than expected

Making some home upgrades and switching to energy efficient appliances is an important part of those upgrades. All our bedrooms have ceiling fans and all require candelabra socket bulbs (E12). These bulbs fit and as LED they save energy. These lamps are brighter than you might expect, but they're also dimmable so the light level can be adjusted to suit the environment or mood. Overall, these lamps are the best match for our ceiling fan upgrade.

These are the brightest lamps I have ever bought. May require sunglasses

They're definitely bright! I mean I knew they were coming and ordered them for the dark hallway and entrance but just wow. If you don't need them to light up an already well-lit area very brightly, you can step down a notch. We put them in a chandelier above our dining table and have to turn on a dimmer which they say can be dimmed or replaced with one that doesn't require sunglasses at the table while you eat meatloaf.
