It seems that every microwave lamp (below) still uses incandescent bulbs, which burn out quickly. Worse, replacing them is expensive (if you can even find the right one). Enter these LED washers. They work as a great substitute. I use strong double stick tape and place two LEDs on each side. The dimmer works great and offers a wide range of brightness from 10% to 100%. It even comes with an extendable wall mount. The cables are very long and should be more than enough to put them where you need

When they work it's a great light. I found them popping up unexpectedly, but I just turned them off. After about three weeks they stopped working. I went back and reread the reviews and found that unplugging and plugging it back in temporarily fixes the problem. I'm not sure if the problem will come back and there's no need to "fix" a brand new product. Hence the rating is 1 star.
