Installing a new dino board for my "S" water heater was easy with this kit. Instead of attaching the board to the styrofoam body of the water heater, it now has a finished look and is a safe and secure place to live.

Used to replace OEM Dometic (Made in China) boards that seem to run for months and then the board under a capacitor and an ignition coil fry. . The Dinosaur has been more stable since installation and not much better than Dometic's OEM junk.

Works great, requires NO drilling according to another review. There is a slot for the edge connector cable and spark wire - you need to make sure the cover is rotated so the holes line up with the circuit board. Remove the cover from the ignition wire, you no longer need it with a cover. A better design would be a hinge so you can access the board, but the tabs fit the original holes perfectly.

Not sure if this review applies to a full replacement or not as I received a part that I do not need as it was included with this item when it was about is a complete article. Anyway, the original part failed shortly after purchase. The dinosaur replacement was somewhat easy to install and worked as soon as the power was turned on. If time will tell I can say that it looks and feels a lot better than the original.

Quality product that makes installation easy. Used a small dinosaur UIB to fix a water heater for a suburban RV. The original circuit board was screwed onto the water heater mounting plate. When the original board was shorted, there were small burn marks on the double sided tape that was on the back of the board. Luckily it didn't set anything on fire. The kit is well made and fits perfectly. My only issue was that it came with a piece of white tape over the hole in the top. The hole is just above the igniter connector. Your intention is that you use the side cutout. I do not want it. My fault is that I didn't clearly see the hole that is shown in the picture.
