Can't say enough great things about this car seat for my older toddlers. I had the Britax boulevard when my kids were little and I loved how safe and snug it was. But as my son turned 4 it felt too snug but he was not ready for a booster. I bought the Dino and it is AMAZING. Steel frame, easy and tight install, super safe, and way more comfortable leg room for a now 5 year old. I also bought one for my 2 year old and skipped the Britax all together. I have a 2019 Chevy Equinox and needed to be able to fit three car seats across the backseat. I have two Diono Radians (1 FF, 1RF) and a Britax BSafe 35, and I can fit them all. The RF Radian is behind the passenger seat and renders the front seat pretty much useless. I’m 5’6” and my knees were almost touching the dashboard. I do not have the angle adjuster for the seat. Heavy duty steel frame narrow car seat. This thing is bullet proof. It’s a pain to install depending on the vehicle, but once it’s installed it’s not going anywhere.

We love the diono radian seat for fitting our boys all in one row or even separately. They are spacious and comfortable and very secure.

Very heavy, not easy to moved & hard to install tightly but I feel like the Body of it is really nice and strong The seat has a strong chemical odor when taken out of its packaging.

This is my second Diono RXT car seat. I read reviews that this newer model was more cheaply made than previous years. I agree that the fabric doesn’t seem as high-tech and I don’t like that the Diono brand is stamped on versus stitched like previous years. My daughter just turned 2 and absolutely loves her new car seat . I like that it’s slim . Only downside it’s heavy but than again maybe that’s a reason why it’s safe too !
