Bought three of these booster seats for every vehicle my kid usually rides in. Two of them fit perfectly into vehicles with regular backrow seats. However, I ran into an issue installing one into my 2020 Durango with backrow captain's seats. With this booster seat being wider than many other seats on the market, I wasn't able to lock the latch of the car seatbelt into its buckle. The booster seat was in the way. So had to remove the booster seat to buckle my child.

The seat is way too wide. Which wouldn’t seem like it matters, but it sits over the seat buckle and makes it practically impossible for my daughter to buckle herself. Also, her cups do not fit in the cupholders. They’re too small. We have a different brand booster in our other vehicle that doesn’t have either of these issues.

So my little girl who is nine is on the petite side for sure, and did not want a high back booster anymore. I confirmed with the pediatrician that it was OK to switch over because I’m always airing on the side of caution. I am a nurse, what can I say? My 9 year old son is a big boy, not overweight, but just a thick boy with muscular thighs and wide hips. He outgrew his car seat but he still needs a booster. As reference: my son is 43” tall, 40lbs, 5 years old.He said he feels comfortable, easy to move around, after sitting for half an hour, he doesn’t feel his legs are numb or something, but hasn’t try on a long hours trip. I see it fits our car just right, not really too wide/big, but it’s squeezing the belt’s buckle, a bit difficult for me to buckle him up, that is why I gave it 4 stars out of 5. Bought for granddaughter and she loves it. This booster seat is very comfortable (her words) and the cup holders are nice as well. This one is much nicer than mine she told us that we will have to purchase another for our daughters car to replace the uncomfortable booster seat. It also comes with the safety latch to hold seat in place very easy to connect and remove. Would recommend

This is a nice lightweight booster seat but is too wide to fit in a Tesla Model S sedan. It completely covers the seat belt buckle and there's no way to even work around the seat as I've read some other reviewers have been able to do.

The Diono Solana 2XL (2022 model) booster is extremely nice. It is wider than any booster I have ever seen. Excellent for a child that is larger and still needs to use a booster. Diono makes great products that we all know but please beware the measurements are incorrect. At the widest point they are 18.5 inches wide near the seatbelt guides. You can NOT fit 3 across in either 2nd or 3rd row seats in minivans (Attempted to install in a 2007 Honda Odyssey & 2016 Honda Odyssey) or full size SUV’s such as an Expedition (attempted to install them in a 2016 Expedition) or a Suburban/Tahoe.
